For teenagers, common causes of sleep problems all have something to do with screens, screens have heavily effected their sleep, causing teens to either stay up late, have struggle sleeping, or even procrastinate their homework, causing them to do their homework late at night.
Social Media heavily disrupts sleep time and quality. BBC News has a statistic which shows that Teenagers who spend 5+ hours a day on Social Media are 70% more likely to fall asleep late on school nights and after midnight on other days than average users who spend around 1 to 3 hours on Social Media. This is already bad because BBC News also stated that "Sleep is in short supply for teenagers due to hormone changes making teenagers want to sleep later and wake up later."
